Geekfest 2011 a.k.a. the Emerald City Comicon!

I somehow convinced my wife to attend Geekfest with me this year.
What a great idea, I should have thought of it sooner, she's great at waiting in long lines. Coincidentally this is my 666th post here on DougDisneyland, therefore the most evil...
Sergio Aragones is super cool, he drew a little Batman on my copy of Sergio Aragones Destroys DC...
Geof Darrow is also very nice, he drew a cool Carl in my copy of his seminal masterpiece Hard Boiled...
Who's this guy? I'm not sure, but I think he might be Frank Quitely's minder...
I gave my camera to my friend Phil who got some great shots (thanks Phil!) although this isn't one of them...
There were lots of great creators this year, I got signatures from more than a dozen including such luminaries as Marv Wolfman, Terry and Rachel Dodson, Matt Fraction, Dustin Nguyen, J.B. Jones, and Ron Marz...
The cosplayers were out in force this year...
These people will never forgive George Lucas for feeding Boba Fett to the Sarlacc...
This awesome Deadpool costume wins best in show...
Is Halo really a Marine recruiting tool? I report, you decide...
Some folks have way too much time and disposable income...
Phil was trying to capture the fact that women who are not paid spokesmodels actually attend Geekfest...
Sometimes it's hard to tell the comic geeks from the BDSM enthusiasts...
WTF?
The rarest of all breeds - Trekker girls...
Even the Furries showed up, but their leader Pedobear didn't make an appearance...
A cosplayer with comics? Quelle surprise!
Is this guy Sauron? Prove it, show us the cock-ring of power...
We ended our day drinking in a German Pub. We were forced to do this because of the huge gaping flaw in the otherwise awesome Emerald City Comicon - No fucking Beer Garden! Other than that Geekfest 2011 was a whole lot of fun. Next year we are going to go more than one day, and we are definitely getting a room downtown...
